Commissioner of Police Hussein Waheed has said that attacking the police is unacceptable.
CP Waheed made this remark in view of the yesterday’s attack on a police officer. A police officer was forced into a house last night and was beaten up.
CP Waheed urged all not to do perpetrate such crimes. He said that it is a very lowly action to attack the people who ensure the safety and security of the society. He said that such attacks on the Police will not stop the noble works of the police to stop crime.
The police officer attacked last night is now being treated at IGM Hospital.
Two police officers were injured badly during the Mayday protest and were sent abroad for medical treatment.
CP Waheed said that the police are being targeted because some people are instilling hatred against the police and instigating the people against them during protests.
