Last Friday’s sermon stated that the issue of drugs was so prevalent in the society due to those who had marketed the drugs without any consideration for what is ethical.
The sermon, issued by the Islamic Ministry, said that issue of drugs was widespread globally and had impacted many lives.
“Drugs became an issue due to ignorance, depression, laziness, lack of familial connections, poor friendships and lack of faith in God.”
The sermon also stated that drugs were widespread due to those traffickers who wished to earn a lot of money without much work, irrespective of the unethical nature of the issue.
The sermon added that even though there were many forms of drugs available the end result of the issue was the same as it destroyed the lives of many.
