Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim has said that this Government was not Government that would be content to simply list development projects in the budgets.
He made the statement speaking in the ceremony held to establish the sewerage network in Kelaa.
Minister Thoriq stated that work was under way to establish clean drinking water systems and safe waste disposal systems in the island. He also stated that the Ministry had already secured the required finances for the two projects.
In his trip to Haa Dhaal Atoll, he visited Hanimaadhoo Island In Addition To Kelaa and met the Councilors of two islands. They had held discussions on assistance the Ministry can provide for the development of the island.
