Parliament has opened applications for the position of members of Civil Service Commission (CSC).
An announcement made by the Parliament on Thursday stated that there were three vacancies in CSC that needed to be filled and therefore called for applications.
With the change made to the National University Act, President Yameen had appointed CSC President Dr. Mohamed Latheef as University Chancellor.
Parliament reported that application submission deadline was starting from Thursday and will conclude on August 2nd. Applicants have to be above age 30, with no offenses committed under Islamic law in addition to any criminal convictions in the past five years. Additionally, applicants have to be of first degree education level with a service record of minimum 12 years in either private or government service.
The applications and attestations will be accepted from Parliament Secretariat on all government working days from noon to 2.30 pm.
