MET Office has issued a white alert on Thursday, following adverse weather conditions across the nation.
MET Office reported that in the showers, wind speeds were expected to reach to around 45 miles per hour affecting large parts of the nation.
The alert was issued from 7 pm Thursday night to 00:15 am Friday morning.
Many areas of the country sustained severe damages due to the high winds, as such, the roof of Madharusathul Ifthithaah of Lh. Atoll Naifaru was blown away in the gust.
