India and Maldives has held defense cooperation dialogue.
MNDF said in the meeting held in Coast Guard Building Conference Hall, the representatives had discussed on ways to increase defense cooperation.
State Minister at Defense Ministry Mohamed Zuhair, Chief of Defense Force Ahmed Shiyam and Vice Chief of Defense Force Brigadier General Ahmed Shahid represented Maldives in the discussions.
Defense Secretary G. Mohan Kumar, Indian Ambassador to the Maldives Akhilesh Mishra, Deputy Chief of Navy Staff Vice Admiral G. Ashok Kumar and Deputy Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General N.P.S Heera attended the meeting.
