Eight Maldivian doctors are scheduled to depart to Nepal for specialization in 11 fields as part of the Government initiated program to train specialists for the health sector. The eight will depart on Friday.
Eight doctors from IGMH will complete their studies in Nepal’s National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS).
The scholarships were handed over to the recipients in a ceremony held in Health Ministry by Health Minister Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim.

The doctors will specialize in anesthesiology, dermatology, ENT, General Practitioner, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics and Pediatrics.
