Youth Minister Iruthishaam Adam have stated that the purpose of the youth forum is to involve the youth in the development process and to get their ideas.
She made this statement while speaking at the opening ceremony of the youth forum which is being held on the occasion of national youth day.
In addition she said this is the first time such a forum is being held in Maldives. She said that the youth play a vital role in the development of the country and the opportunities created by the government for the youth will be revealed in the forum. One hundred youth are taking part in the one day forum.
