EU called the government to implement the Supreme Court verdict of 1st February because they do not accept the verdicts issued later



Yesterday the EU issued a statement on Maldives calling to implement the Supreme Court verdict of 1st February.

In response to the statement the government stated that the Supreme Court revoked the previous verdict and hence now it should not be followed.



EU did not ask to implement the verdict of 1st February not because they are not aware of the verdicts issued later but because they do not believe in the validity of these verdicts. Also, because the questions raised by Maldivian lawyers regarding these verdicts are raised by EU lawyers as well.


Even lawyers of the EU and the whole world are questioning the legality of these verdicts issued later. The whole world believes the questions raised by Maldivian lawyers regarding the verdicts issued by the three judges. 
Also the lawyers note that none of the verdicts issued by the three judges have their signature.
