Lawyer Mahfooz have said that, the case regarding the 12 MPs which was scheduled at the Supreme Court for today was cancelled probably because the Attorney General changed his position on the matter.
Mahfooz said that it was always clear that the 12 MPs did not lose their seats and even the AG knows it. “I think the AG does not believe in supporting what the government is doing now”
Mahfooz said that even legal experts can tolerate things up to a certain extent and when things cross all lines they will say what needs to be said.
“That is what has happened to the lawyers of AG. When they could not tolerate they started speaking. That happened to the AG himself” said Mahfooz. In addition PG Bisham has also expressed her views regarding the state of emergency.
