MP Abdullah Shahid, MP Abdullah Riyaz and MP Latheef has been arrested. They were arrested during the gathering held on Majeedhee Magu by the opposition today.
In addition, many others were arrested by the police. Participants of the protests noted that police targeted family members of those who has been detained while using pepper spray.
Even after sunset many were calling to implement the Supreme Court order of 1st February. People were saying that the government will have to do it.
