MP Abdullah Shahid, MP Abdullah Riyaz and MP Latheef has been taken to Dhoonidhoo detention center.
Secretary General of JP Ahmed Sameer said that he does not know on what grounds they were arrested, but that he has been informed that they have been taken to Dhoonidhoo detention center.
Sameer said that the way the police is acting is worrying and that he is worried that these 3 MPs will not be provided with their fundamental rights.
“When they request for drinking water, they ask to use the tap in the toilet. This is worrying” said Sameer.
