Housing Minister Dr.Mohammed Muizzu have said that the bridge will be completed and opened before this year’s presidential elections.
Dr.Muizzu said that the elections will be held in late August or early September and hence the bridge will be opened before that. He said that since they tell the truth, the opposition keeps lying during their press conferences at Kunooz.
He said that even though they call people to take to the streets, the people do not do it because they do not want developmental projects to be stopped.
Furthermore the minister said that the government is conducting projects all over the country and hence the people will not want to protest since they can see the country being developed.
