Wife of Retired colonel Nazim have said that when police officers raided Nazim’s house while he was the defence minister they broke down the door of the bedroom of their children and as a result of the psychological shock hey slept in the sitting room for one year.
Afaaf said that the most frightening thing for the children was the vulgar language used by the police. She said that she does not understand why they were using such language and sees no relation with that language and the operation.
Afaaf said that the first thing they did was make Nazim kneel down in the sitting room with a gun pointed at his head. She said that Nazim’s room was searched by the police while the whole family was in the sitting room and police entered the room alone.
“After a while they came out and took Nazim inside and then called me as well. I saw a pistol, a black bag, 3 bullets, and a Nokia phone. Nazim never used such a bag. It was a simple and a small bag” said Afaaf. She said that this happened after another group of police joined he initial group which raided the apartment.
Police found Ahmed Adeeb’s DNA from the pistol and it proves that it had nothing to do with Nazim. Colonel Nazim always denied that it had anything to do with him and now it has been proven in the investigations as well.
Nazim was sentenced to 11 years without completing the investigation. His family has been always saying that the police framed Nazim that night.
