Defense Minister Adam Shareef Umar has called to protect Islam even while expanding local tourism in various parts of Maldives. The minister made this statement in a press conference held today.
The press conference was held to give information about the workings of the National Counter Terrorism Center. They center marked the 2nd anniversary on 25th of February. The minister said that journalists should only question about today’s topic and nothing else. Hence journalists could not ask whether General Mansoor was in detention.
Information about the center was given by the director of the center Brigadier General Zakariyya Mansoor.
