India angered as the government connected Maldives’ crisis and India Kashmir’s crisis.
According to the information received to Miadhu news, (they) are preparing to appeal the issue to India parliament.
An Indian government official said today while giving information to miadhu news while staying in Delhi that Kashmir’s issue is an issue connected with Pakistan and a foreign country regarding the work done by some people to give an area/land of India to another country. That unrest is caused in Kashmir by Pakistan.
“If looked at few years before from now, Pakistan was not in world map. There was India. Hence the level of their thinking is very well known when Maldives issue is made similar to the acts of terrorism and work done by some people who are trying to give Pakistan an area/land of India.”
Official said that he doesn’t know that there are people in Maldives who wants to give a piece of Maldives to another country. That he didn’t know that there are people in Maldives who want to remove Maldivian flag and hoist another country’s flag in any region of Maldives. “Then how can Kashmir issue and Maldives issue be matched, how can it be said that Kashmir issue is an internal matter of India. When attacks are given and discord is created by Pakistan training war fighters and giving weapons.”
Official said that India always wants the region’s peace and peace to be there in Maldives also. For Maldives’ economy to succeed. “Do you journalists know how many people were given opportunity to visit Maldives from the tourism opportunities given by India government for civil servants last year also? I am talking about sending people to Maldives as tourists in India government’s expense. What other country helps Maldives like this?”
“I don’t want to talk too much right now. This is my thinking. It is up to India government to give the response India has to for the talks of Maldivian government.” Official said.
Some Indian news said today that Maldivian government revealed yesterday that the government will not respond to any proposal by India. “India is appealing to lift the state of emergency. To free the arrested two Supreme Court judges. To free the political prisoners arrested illegally. India is appealing for those things as it is the way peace can be established in the country.” Some news said.
