Police questions MP Muhamma regarding the alleged corruption case
Maldives Police Service has summoned MP Mohammed Abdullah to the police station and questioned him regarding an alleged corruption case against him. He is suspected of offering bribes to government officials.

The summon order given to Muhanma states that he is suspected of offering bribes to government officials to influence them in doing their duties. Speaking to the media after giving a statement to the police, Muhamma says that it is a huge allegation and that he denies it.

He said that anyone who says anything against the president is being suspected of such crimes and called everyone to act within the law.
