Lawyers of the detainees in Dhoonidhoo have expressed concern saying that they are not sure of the type of the medicine given to their clients by the police.
They said that many tablets look alike and they are not sure whether the clients are in fact given the medicine prescribed by the doctors. The lawyers said that even though they have complained about this, so far the authorities have not responded.
The lawyers further said that they have lost trust in the institution because of how their clients are being treated at Dhoonidhoo and said that this needs to be solved.
Meanwhile family members of the detainees have been complaining at relevant state authorities.
