Maldivian Ambassador to India Ahmed Mohammed have said that it is important to let bygones be bygones and start improving India-Maldives relations.
He made this statement while speaking to an Indian Newspaper. He said that Dr.Shainee said that Maldives does not interfere in Kashmir issue because since 1970 Maldives has a policy of non-interference in domestic affairs of other countries since 1970. Even though Maldives stated that Kashmir is an internal issue of India, India believes that, Kashmir issue is a problem with Pakistan.
It should be noted that, the recent verbal clashes between India and Maldives is too strong to be forgotten that easily.
