Opposition parties have stated that the lifting of the state of emergency did not change anything and that it was done just for namesake and that the situation of the people can only change from the streets.
In a press conference held by the opposition parties they stated that the state of emergency was lifted because the government could not tolerate the opposition protests. “The state of emergency was lifted for namesake only. The people does not have any option other than taking it to the streets” said an official.
In addition they stated that the way to reform judiciary and parliament is not by arresting the judges or by removing parliament members. “the government does not know any other method. They do not even want it. So what can be reformed without taking it to the streets” said an official.
