Foreign Minister Dr.Mohammed Asim who is visiting Kuwait as a special envoy of the president, has met with the deputy foreign minister of Kuwait.
According to foreign ministry, Dr.Asim met with deputy foreign minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Khaalid Al Hamaad Al Sabaah and talked about strengthening the relations between the two countries.
Kuwait has been assisting Maldives in development starting from a long time ago. Kuwait gave aid to develop the airport during President Nasir’s administration as well.
