Does not have to accept everything that is passed by the parliament as law : Dhiyana
Former Attorney General Dhiyana Saeed have said that everything that is passed by the parliament cannot be considered as law and only those passed in accordance to natural principles and which are logical can be considered as law.

Speaking at a gathering held at Kunooz by the opposition tonight, Dhiyana said that the people should not accept laws that violates international legal principles even if the president ratifies it. She said that the anti-defection bill passed by the parliament is illogical.

She said that it cannot be accepted because the bill unqualifies those who left PPM but not those who left their parties to join PPM. She also said that laws are enforced from the moment it is enacted and not on past incidents.

“Laws are passed to be enforced starting from a specific date and it should be a future date because a past date might be unjust for some people” said Dhiyana
