Criminal Court has extended Mahloof’s detention by 5 more days.
Speaking at the court today, Mahloof said that he distributed face masks during the protests to save themselves from tear gas.
Police said that if Mahloof is freed he might tamper with evidence. His lawyers questioned how he can tamper with evidence if he already confessed.
The state has charged Mahloof with terrorism and 3 other charges. Mahloof was arrested on March 22nd during the state of emergency. On 17th March the Criminal Court ordered to detain Mahloof for 13 days.
