Economic Ministry has stated that restaurants, cafes, and canteens can operate until 1 am starting from today.
An announcement by the ministry states that, this change was brought because of the various economic projects that are going on in Maldives has brought changes to the daily lives of people and to accommodate this change.
In addition, the ministry has changed the operating hours for petrol and fuel sheds as well. From today onwards fuel sheds can operate until 12 am.
According to the ministry, with these changes and with the changes brought to the rules regarding bulk transport of goods, the people will benefit immensely.
