JSC decides not to pay Chief Justice Abdullah Saeed and Justice Ali Hameed
Judicial Service Commission has decided not to pay the salaries of Chief Justice Abdullah Saeed and Justice Ali Hameed.

Both the judges were arrested after the state of emergency announced, following the Supreme Court verdict of 1st February and they are being charged with terrorism.

After their arrest, JSC suspended the two judges. Justice Ali Hameed was suspended on 7th February while Chief Justice Abdullah Saeed was suspended on 8th February. At the time the JSC did not decide to cut off their salaries as well.

According to JSC these two judges were suspended because they are being investigated for conspiring to over throw the government and for accepting bribes.
