Maldives has requested to return one of the helicopters gifted by India to Maldives.
An Indian newspaper reported that the government of Maldives wants to return the Dhurvi Helicopter and get a Donier Maritime Surveillance Helicopter instead.
The newspaper reported that officials of both countries are talking about the matter. A senior official of the Indian government confirmed the news to Miadhu News. The two helicopters gifted by the Indian government are managed by the Indian Airforce for free.
According to sources, the government wants to return the helicopter that is being used in Addu.
