STO’s MD Ahmed Shaheer has requested businesses not to increase price of goods due to the changes brought to the goods transport regulations in Male’.
Shaheer said that the price of goods imported by STO will not change and hence STO sells products of other importers, he asked other companies not to increase the price and to cooperate.
He said that the government is talking with the laborers who clear the containers and an agreement will be reached which will be good for both the sides. He said that STO does not like to get involved in private businesses like that and when they offer a good price STO is ready to hire them to clear STO’s goods as well.
He further said that this regulation has eased congestion in Male’ and everyone is benefitting from it.
