Former Tourism Minister Dr.Mausoom have said that the evidence against Siyad Qasim is from his birth certificate.
Dr.Mausoom said that the evidence is Qasim Ibrahim being Siyad’s father and that is the only reason the police is detaining him. Speaking about the matter, Siyad’s lawyer Nooruh Salaam said that the allegations made against by the police against Siyad does not make any sense. He said that they keep changing the allegations against him.
He said that Siyad was taken to a remand hearing after 39 days since his arrest and the statements made by PG lawyers at the hearing does not make any sense either.
Dr.Mausoom said that from the way the government is treating Siyad it is evident that Siyad is innocent and his only fault is being Qasim Ibrahim’s son.
