Indian authorities have stated that the government of Maldives did not respond to the letter sent by India regarding donating a donier flight to Maldives.
“A donier flight is nothing compared to the aid we give to Maldives. We have extended an olive branch but the government of Maldives refused to accept it” said an Indian official.
An official said that the government of Maldives wants to return the helicopters to Indian now. “The agreement on the helicopter in Laamu Atoll will expire this month. We have proposed to renew it in January but so far did not get an answer” said the official.
The between the government of Maldives and India will definitely affect Maldives. What we don’t know is the extent at which it will happen.
