List of recipients of flats under the government’s social housing scheme was hidden to promote Islam ?
MP Ibrahim Hassan (Evila) has asked whether the government hid the list of recipients of flats under the government’s social housing scheme to promote Islam.
He said this regarding the statement made by Housing Minister Dr.Muizzu who said that the largest project of the current government is to protect and to promote Islam.
Ibrahim Hassan said that he does not know that Islam orders to keep things secret from the public unless it is related to warfare. “I do not know whether an Islam government can keep things hidden from the public unless it will endanger the public” said Evila.
Ibrahim Hassan said that the government hid the recipients list from the public because corruption was involved in awarding the flats and it was done to hide this. He said that he believes that it is an insult to Islam to talk about promoting Islam while conducting such malicious activities.
