Deputy Leader of JP Dr.Hussein have asked EC president Shareef not to try to intimidate the opposition and said that the opposition parties will easily defeat the candidate of Shareef’s party.
Speaking at a press conference held today at M.Kunooz, Dr.Hussein said that the Supreme Court should decide whether the 12 MPs disqualified by the EC lost their seats and it is not up to the legal team of EC to decide that.
Dr.Hussein said that so far none of the verdicts by the Supreme Court states that the 12 MPs have lost their seats and that the last verdict also orders all parties to refrain from taking any action regarding the matter.
Dr.Hussein said that while things are this clear, Shareef the president of EC who is also a PPM activist should refrain from meddling with the work of the EC and instead should resign and continue being an activist of PPM.
