Former First Lady Nasreena has met with wives of political detainees. The meeting was held last night at SHE Building. Wives of Ahmed Adeeb, former Defence Minister Nazim, Faaris Maumoon, Ilham Ahmed, Ahmed Mahloof, Abdullah Riyaz, Ahmed Nadheem and 3 daughters of Qasim Ibrahim took part in the meeting.
Nasreena encouraged everyone at the meeting. Meanwhile her husband, and former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom is also in jail till the end of his trial.
Participants of the meeting praised Nasreena and thanked for her courage. They said that even during a time like this she showed patience and courage.
