A mini-Chinese food festival has been held in Male’ today. People were able to experience various Chinese cuisine at the event.
It was held in the helipad area of Henveyru. Many people attended the event.
Chinese cuisine is popular among Maldivians. Maldivians who live abroad regularly eat Chinese food as well. The purpose of today’s event was to strengthen relations between Maldivian and Chinese citizens.
In addition visitors were allowed to enter the bridge construction site and see the progress of China-Maldives Friendship Bridge.
