Maldives Police Service has summoned Yumna Maumoon to police station today. She is being investigated for conspiring to overthrow the government.
Today when she informed the police that she would like to continue with a lawyer and she was asked to be present for questioning with a lawyer tomorrow.
Speaking to the press today, she said that the police gave until tomorrow to appoint a lawyer.
Meanwhile, Yumna’s husband, her brother, and her father are in jail and they are being charged with terrorism.
