Criminal Court hearing of President Maumoon which was scheduled for today has been cancelled due to his ill health.
Maumoon’s lawyer Maumoon Hameed tweeted saying that Maldives Police Service informed the Criminal Court that Maumoon could not be taken to the court for the hearing today due to his ill health. The court has cancelled the hearing because of that.
The hearing was supposed to start at 3:00 pm. President Maumoon is being charged with terrorism, bribery and destroying evidence.
