The state has said that they intend to use confidential witnesses against Nadheem, in the terrorism case against him. Nadheem is the son in law of former President Maumoon.
In the preliminary hearing held today, the PG lawyers stated that they want to use confidential witnesses against Nadheem.
However, Nadheem requested the court not to allow confidential witnesses and submitted 26 motions on behalf of him.
Nadheem was arrested in early February after announcing a state of emergency. Along with Nadheem, former President Maumoon was also arrested.
