Ministry of Education has signed an agreement with Emilio Eguinaldo College of Philippines. Under the agreement the college will provide scholarships to Maldives.
In a ceremony held at Education Ministry, the President of the College Dr.Jose Paulo signed the agreement on behalf of the college. Meanwhile education minister Dr.Aishath Shiham signed on behalf of the ministry.
Even now 23 students study medicine at this college. Speaking at the ceremony, the minister said that this was another opportunity to develop the education sector of Maldives.
