Deputy leader of JP, Dr.Hussen Rasheed Hassan have said that the council of JP will decide the running mate from JP who will contest in the upcoming elections as the opposition coalition candidate.
Dr.Hussein made this statement while speaking from Ukulhas. A senior official of JP said that JP conducts their affairs through democratic means and hence the person will be chosen based on democratic deliberations.
The official said that many members of JP are expressing their views about the running mate and these views are their personal views. He said that the official position of the party will be taken from the party council.
The president of JP, Ali Waheed said that the running mate from JP should be wife of Qasim Ibrahim Aisthath Nahula. Aishath is also a council member of JP now.
