Supreme Court hearings of the 12 MPs who were disqualified by the EC has ended. The case was filed to the Supreme Court by the AG after the verdict issued by the Supreme Court on 1st February to reinstate the 12 MPs.
In the hearing held on Thursday, Chief Justice Dr.Ahmed Abdullah Didi said that the hearing was held because the bench of the Supreme Court was changed and hence there will be another hearing which will be considered as the final hearing of the case.
The opposition parties and the 12 MPs who were disqualified by the EC has been saying that they did not lose their seats in the parliament and are hopeful that the Supreme Court will make a decision in their favor.
