Former President Ahmed Adheeb has denied the charges against him regarding the MMPRC embezzlement case. Speaking at the court hearing,
Adheeb said that it was President Yameen who changed the regulations so that MMPRC does not have to deposit the money to MIRA.
Adheeb said that the money that MMPRC received was counted in President Yameen’s house. Adheeb said that it was done by President Yameen and a foreigner who lives in the house.
In addition he said that more than 80 million dollars was taken into the president’s house and that he was warned not to talk about it.
