President of the Elections Commission have said that so far 8000 re-registration forms have been subumitted.
Those who want to vote to a different polling station, other than the island of birth, then they should re-register to vote.
The president of the EC said that the re-registration process of this year is smoother than the previous election.
“The re-registration process is faster than 2013. At that time, only 4000 people registered by this time, but we got around 8000 forms last night” sai Shareef.
