MP Fayyaz Ismail of MDP have said that MDP has accepted the results of the investigation on the events of 7th February and left it in the past.
Fayyaz made this statement after President Yameen’s running mate Dr.Shaheem said that MDP will investigate the events of 7th February if they assume power again.
Fayyaz said that the events of 7th February has been investigated and that MDP accepted the results. He said that MDP only asked to implement the recommendations made by the inquiry commission back then.
Dr.Shaheem stated that MDP will re-open the case and jail some of the members of the current opposition coalition.
