King Salman of Saudi Arabia has assured that Saudi-Maldives relation will be stronger under Presiden-elect Ibrahim Mohammad Solih’s administration.
The king called Ibu and welcomed him and wished him success.
President-elect also thanked King Salman and expressed his wish to maintain the strong relations between the two countries. He stated that Maldives is in need of Saudi Arabia’s assistance.
The crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman also called Ibu and welcomed him. In addition, Saudi Arabia sent a delegation to Maldives and they met President-elect Ibu on the king’s behalf. Even now Saudi Arabia assists Maldives in various ways and it is expected that the people will start benefitting from it in a more direct manner under Ibu’s administration.
