Elections Commission of the have stated that they did not receive any complaints regarding the preliminary and the official results of the presidential election held on 23rd September.
In a press statement released by the Elections Commission during a time ruling party PPM and President Yameen is accusing EC of tampering with the votes, the Commission stated that no official authority has so far submitted any complaints regarding the results of the election.
In addition the statement says that various people are trying to delegitimize the elections by accusing members of the commission of fraud.
EC called everyone to stop preventing EC from fulfilling their legal mandate and asked not to obstruct them in any manner.
