JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim has arrived in the Maldives. His flight landed at Velana International Airport around 2:00 pm.
He was welcomed at the airport by President-elect Ibrahim Mohammed Solih, Vice President-elect Faisal Naseem and other senior leaders of the opposition coalition.
Several people were gathered at Male’ and Hulhumale’ to welcome him and they had placards expressing their support and love for him.
Qasim returns to Maldives after living abroad for more than a year. President of JP, Ali Waheed also arrived with Qasim Ibrahim.
