Chinese Ambassador to Maldives, Zhang Lizhong has met with President-elect Ibrahim Mohammed Solih.
The meeting took place today.
Chinese President Xi Jingping also congratulated the president-elect after he won the election. Chinese government has assured that they will work closely with the new administration.
