Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom have stated that he does not believe that any court will annul the election.
Speaking to the media after meeting with JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim, president Maumoon said that the election was held in accordance with the constitution and that the whole world has accepted it.
President Maumoon said that, no issue was found after the preliminary results were announced and since then the permanent results have been announced as well.
He said that, now no one believe that there are any issues. He said that no country or any institution in the Maldives will believe that. He said that he does not believe that any courts will make a decision which can overturn the election.
