JP leader Qasim Ibrahim and the opposition coalition has been given a warm welcome from Maamigili today.
This is Qasim Ibrahim’s first visit to the island after he was sentenced to jail last year. He is visiting the island after 14 months. Qasim’s family accompanied him during the visit.
The islanders are preparing a dinner for Qasim and other senior members of the coalition visiting the island.
