Leader of JP Qasim Ibrahim have met with the island council of Maamigili. He held discussions with the council with regard to avenues of future development in the island and about the current situation of the island.
Qasim has conducted various projects for the development of the island. He conducted a land reclamation project, developed a new school building and developed an international seaport in the island.
Furthermore he provided job opportunities for the islands by developing an airport in the island.
