JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim have said that the people know that who committed wrongful acts in the past presidential election and asked President Yameen to accept defeat without creating further problems for the people.
Qasim Ibrahim made this request to President Yameen while speaking to the people of Adh Dhigurah today. Qasim said that he does not believe that the decision made by the people on 23rd September will be over turned. “The election was conducted by the EC members appointed by President Yameen. Everything went smoothly and peacefully” said Qasim.
Qasim asked the people to remain patient and to act within the law. “With the will of Allah, the situation wont change and the problems created recently will be solved. Previously President Yameen said that the outcome of the election will not be determined by the Supreme Court. Everything will happen contrary to what he says. Even today we can see that” said Qasim.
Qasim Ibrahim thanked the people of Dhigurah and the people of Maldives for supporting and trusting the opposition coalition even though Qasim was abroad during the election period.
